How long has Metropolitan Safe Deposits been established and who owns and runs the company?

The company was formed in 1983 and now incorporates three substantial safe deposit box facilities in Central and West London.

In 2007, the business was sold to a group of private investors led by Christopher Barrow, a former investment banker who is now our chief executive. All the shareholders have successful business backgrounds mainly in investment banking, investment management and property development. You'll find details of our board in About us.
